Mysterious, narrative, bold - love this painting David. The kind of painting that stays in the mind.

Hi Sheila,

Thanks. Yes, that painting is very much an experiment in exaggerated contrast between light/dark. Amazing how our eyes fill in the necessary gaps and make that bench appear luminous against the dark background. Fits with my current pre-occupation in the man-made vs natural.
